Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) is an industry working group with members comprising businesses, NGOs and public sector representatives. The group works with the microelectronics industry, as well as major technology companies, such as Apple. In 2020, AWS launched a global ICT Water Stewardship Group to help brands and suppliers collaborate in their understanding of water within the industry, and to examine risks in the water technology supply chains.
