Asahi Kasei Microdevices designs and manufactures mixed signal integrated circuits which are used in video processing, mobile communications and optical networking. Its materials sector has application within the semiconductor industry via its photosensitive dry film. The subsidiary Sekisui Chemical produces valves, pipes and other equipment for use in ultrapure water systems.
