About

A Japanese water and wastewater treatment equipment manufacturer and systems integrator historically focused on the semiconductor industry, being one of the first companies to produce UPW for the industry beginning in 1969. It is the smallest of the three top Japanese ultrapure water specialists (behind Kurita and Organo) but it was the first to expand abroad, first to Korea, then Taiwan, China and the USA. Now it is looking for growth mainly from the industrial wastewater recycling market. Nomura's UPW technology particularly focuses on dissolving gases into water.
