Global water company with a wide portfolio of filtration and pump products. The company bought the X-Flow series of MF/UF/NF membrane technologies through the acquisition of Norit in 2011. Furthermore, Pentair Advanced Filtration supplies MBR technology for treatment of effluent for water recycling. The company divested its Valves & Controls division in 2017 to Emerson before becoming a water pure-play in 2018 after the spin-off of its electrical business.
