Type1water is a subsidiary of Xzero which was spun-off to form an independent company in 2021, with the goal of developing and marketing two specific products- Nanocap and Biocap. The company have launched the Nanocap product, which is a desktop water purifier designed to harness Xzero technology and remove nanoparticles for the production of ultrapure water, including sub-10 nanometre particles.
