Ceramic membranes have shown a high potential for reuse of industrial wastewater with abrasive solids because they are robust and reliable over a longer life then polymeric membranes. The installations described in this presentation are from a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) manufacturer and a Silicon Wafer manufacturer. While both deal with the liquid/solid separation of their abrasive solids with CFM, their decision factors are different.
